Francois Krige depicted all facets of his life in the Klein Karoo town of Montagu, ranging from the people to the animals and landscapes. The mountains of Montagu are particularly remarkable due to their size, geological history, and also their beauty. In this landscape, Krige captures the majesty of the mountains in the sun.
