This simple yet elegant clock is made from walnut wood, which was a common practice since the 1700s, is from Sangla, is a town in the Dordogne, where the 100-year war was fought. The grandfather clock itself stands at “”meters, and boasts panelled trunk doors and base panels in a burr walnut that traditionally was often book matched or even quarter matched to a fantastic effect.
